Lufthansa Systems opens operation center in Budapest
Lufthansa Systems has opened an operation center, a service centre responsible for maintenance of Lufthansa’s network and server system, in Budapest, the company told MTI on Thursday.
Chairman-CEO Wolfgang F. W. Gohde said that 100 IT professionals are employed at the center. The operation center is connected to a central computer-system in Frankfurt. Employees at the Hungarian center are responsible for about 1,000 server systems.
Lufthansa System’s Hungarian subsidiary employs 450 people, who work on product-development projects. The operation center is situated in Budapest’s Infopark, a software-innovation center situated close to two universities in southern Budapest. (MTI-Econews)
