Kemira to boost Hungarian fertilizer output by 36%

Kemira Oyj of Finland is planning to raise its fertilizer output and sales in Hungary, Világgazdaság reported citing a company executive.
Kemira GrowHow Hungary Kft, the company's local fertilizer unit, would boost the annual capacity of its plant in Peremarton to as much as 150,000 tons next year from 110,000 tons in 2005, the paper said. Kemira GrowHow would further raise its output to about 200,000 tons over the next few years, Világgazdaság added.
The company expects sales to rise by three to 10% annually in Hungary and by 20% to 50% on its export markets in Eastern Europe, Sales Director István Zajacz told the paper. Kemira GrowHow expects the Bulgarian, Romanian and Bosnian markets to expand significantly, Zajacz added.
