JH Ziegler makes Ft 1 bln investment in Bábolna

The JH Ziegler Kft has also set up a sales center in the town in order to be more accessible for Central and East European partners, Napi Gazdaság reported on Friday. Ziegler decided to invest in Hungary in 2005, but picked the exact location later on. The company purchased a 18,000-square-meter plot in Bábolna, and built a 2,500-square-meter production facility on the site. The investment amounted to more Ft 1 billion, (€3.5 million) and the new facility employs 15 people. The factory produces furniture and car drapes, and accessories. In order to supply customers in Central and Eastern Europe in an optimal way, Ziegler needs to start production at new site in summer 2006 and supply the customers in that region directly from there.
