Hungary’s Richter ups stake in drug maker Polfa
Hungarian drug maker Richter Gedeon agreed with Poland’s treasury ministry to buy another 29.63% in pharmaceutical firm Polfa Grodzisk, the treasury ministry said on Wednesday.
Richter Gedeon already has control of Polfa. It has said in the past Poland was a key growth area for the company. Richter recently failed to buy Poland’s Polpharma. The ministry statement gave no value for the transaction. (Reuters)
