The company plans to open its bookshops in all major Romanian cities and to reach around 20 stores by 2013. “Our goal is to become the biggest book retailer in Romania and, according to our expansion plan, we want to be present in all of the country’s major cities, including Bucharest, within the next 5 years. We hope to open our first store in Bucharest next year,” stated John Holm, manager for Romania of Libri company.

The Cluj-Napoca bookshop will have an area of 500 square meters and will sell 8,000 titles. The total value of investments in Polus Center Cluj amounted to €140 million ($194 million), and last year TriGránit sold Polus Center to Austria’s Immoeast investment fund in a deal worth €210 million ($291 million).
