HungaroControl reveals development at Madrid expo

Hungary’s HungaroControl will be presenting its most recent developments and the services of its Center for Research, Development and Simulation (CRDS) at the World ATM (Air Traffic Management) Congress 2015, held in Madrid between March 10-12, according to a press release from the company.
HungaroControl’s developments include digital messaging between pilots and air traffic controllers, remote tower control, smart glasses to track the ATCO’s eye and head movements, and a simulation center designed to test new technologies and procedure which are mandatory in Europe. Only one other center in Europe is said to come close to the level of technology and capacity of HungaroControl – EUROCONTROL’s Experimental Center, near Paris.
