GVH fines Sager Pharma HUF 10 mln

The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) fined pharmaceutical company Sager Pharma HUF 10 million on charges of misleading advertising in regards to the effects of product Seractil Dolo 300mg, GVH said today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
According to the authority, the company made misleading statements about the product taking effect immediately after consumption, while some time is needed for the body to absorb the medicine in actuality, the news agency reported.
The authority added that it expects companies to apply the medically approved methods of usage of a given product when designing the productĘĽs advertising, MTI said.
