Hungary's government has declared the construction of a national vaccine plant a "matter of priority importance from the aspect of the national economy", thus expediting administration procedures required for the project in a decree published in the latest issue of the official gazette Magyar Közlöny.
The decree establishes shorter deadlines for the issue of the necessary permits and assigns the head of the Hajdú-Bihar County government office the coordination of the project in the role of government commissioner.
The "National Vaccine Plant and National Coronavirus Vaccine Plant" is being built in Debrecen, Hungary's second-largest city and the county seat of Hajdú-Bihar.
