Euroventures invests almost HUF 200 mln in Live Info

Euroventures Venture Capital Fund Manager is putting almost HUF 200 million into Live Info, an online video network, Live Info told MTI on Friday. Live Info has established a unified sales distribution network which provides licensed video content to news websites. At present, it is a partner with twelve publishers and 33 news portals. Its network generates 700,000 video views a month on average. Live Info managing director András Pásztor said the capital injection would support the company's goal to become regional market leader in the segment in 3-5 years. The HUF 7.1 billion Euroventures IV Fund, which is supported by a contribution from the Swiss-Hungarian Cooperation Programme, invests in Hungarian SMEs. The ten-year fund matures at the end of 2013.
