Danubiana wine sales reach 138,000 hectoliters
Sales volume of winemaker Danubiana rose by about 6% to 138,000 hectoliters last year, managing director Győző Schmidt told Hungarian news agency MTI.
Revenue climbed at about the same pace as sales over the €13 million reported in 2014, Schmidt said.
Exports increased some 5% and now account for 90% of total sales, he said. Danubianaʼs main foreign markets are the United Kingdom, Germany and the Scandinavian countries he added.
This year, Danubianaʼs sales are expected to exceed 140,000 hectoliters.
