OTP Bank Nyrt Chief Executive Officer Sándor Csányi, Hungary's richest man, may build a sport and cultural center on the site of a dairy factory he owns in south Hungary, Népszabadság reported. Csányi may spend many billion forint building the center in Pécs, 180 kilometers (112 miles) south of Budapest, after MiZo Rt, a dairy company Csányi owns closed last year, the newspaper reported, citing Mihály Baumstark, the chairman of MiZo's supervisory board. (Ft 1 billion forint = $4.5 million) Csányi, with an estimated wealth of about Ft 70 billion, will build the center on condition the city leases it for 15 to 20 years, the newspaper reported, citing Baumstark. Should the sport center plans fail, the OTP chief may build a plant to manufacture machine parts or sell the property worth as much as Ft 800 million, Népszabadság said.
