B.Braun Medical inaugurates HUF 4 bln expansion in Hungary

German-owned B.Braun Medical on Monday inaugurated a HUF 4 billion expansion at its disposable medical supplies plant in Gyöngyös. The expansion doubles the plant's capacity and creates 100 jobs, raising headcount to 755. The investment includes 2,900sqm of production space and 2,200sqm of warehouse space. B.Braun Magyarorszag, which comprises B.Braun Medical, which also operates dialysis centres, and B.Braun Avitum Hungary, employs 2,000 people and has annual revenue of HUF 27 billion. The company has invested HUF 60 billion in Hungary since 1991.
