Asia Center to open office in Jakarta
Budapest's Asia Center, a trade center with a focus on Asian imports, has signed an agreement to open an office in Jakarta to drum up more business with Indonesian partners, business daily Világgazdaság reported on Tuesday.
The center is hosting a presentation by 25 Indonesian and 12 Mongolian furniture and textile companies to about 200 potential buyers from Slovakia and the Czech Republic, business development director Eszter Soós told the paper.
Asia Center already operates representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Hanoi and Ho Chi-Minh. In addition to Jakarta, it also aims to set up an office in Mongolia. Soós said Asia Center has targeted only markets in Slovakia and the Czech Republic so far, but it plans to expand its scope to include more countries.
