Szeplast Invests HUF 1.3 bln in Capacity Expansion

PVC granule maker Szeplast is investing over HUF 1.3 billion to expand capacity and broaden its product palette, the company told news agency MTI.

Szeplast won HUF 632 million in conditional European Union and state funding for the project which will raise its annual production capacity to over 15,000 tonnes.

The investment is set to finish by the fall of 2024.

Szeplast had net sales revenue of EUR 19.1 million last year, public records show. Exports generate around two-thirds of turnover.
