Slovenia Industrial Output Drops in March

Industrial production in Slovenia slumped 5.5% year-on-year in March, after a downwardly revised 1.2% fall in the prior month, figures released by the Ljubljana-based Statistics Bureau of Slovenia (SURS) showed on Wednesday.
Output declined in all three sectors, namely electricity, gas, steam & air conditioning supply (-38.6% vs -27% in February), mining & quarrying (-37.1% vs -34.5%) and manufacturing (-1.8% vs 1.8%).
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output increased 2.3%, rebounding from a downwardly revised 4.3% decrease in February.
