Lithuania Producer Prices Fall in April

Producer prices in Lithuania fell 0.3% year-on-year in April, reversing from an upwardly revised 6.8% increase in the previous month, figures from the Vilnius-based Statistics Lithuania (LS) showed on Thursday.
It was the first decline since February 2021, as cost fell for manufacturing (-3.7% vs 3% in March).
At the same time, prices slowed for mining & quarrying (13% vs 17.2%), electricity, gas, steam & air-conditioning supply (44.1% vs 50%), and water supply, sewerage, waste management & remediation activities (24.9% vs 26.7%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices dropped 2.6% in April, from a downwardly revised 2% fall in the previous month.
