The volume of industrial production grew in July 2022 by 6.6.% year-on-year, according to working-day adjusted data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

The volume of production grew in the largest weight representing subsections year-on-year: in the case of the manufacture of transport equipment, as well as the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products it increased to a greater extent, at the manufacture of food products, beverages and tobacco products it rose to a lesser degree.

However, production dropped in the majority of the other manufacturing subsections, KSH notes.

In the first seven months of the year, production was 4.9% higher than in the same period of 2021.

Industrial output in July 2022, according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices, was 1.1% above the level of the previous month.
