Hungary produced more than 150,000 bicycles in 2020
Hungary produced a total of 151,788 bicycles in 2020, up from 128,924 a year before, according to data by statistical agency Eurostat.
Hungary accounted for approximately 1.25% of total bicycle production in the EU. Member States manufactured a total of nearly 12.2 million bicycles last year, up from 12 million in 2019, Eurostat estimates.
The sold production of bicycles greatly varied among EU Member States for which data are available, from approximately 1,500 bicycles in Denmark up to more than 2.1 million bicycles in Italy and more than 2.6 million in Portugal.
