Hungary Industrial Output Rises 0.5% y.o.y. in November

The volume of industrial production in Hungary grew by 0.5% year-on-year in November, according to raw data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
Based on working-day adjusted data production rose by 0.8%.
The output of the manufacture of transport equipment, having the largest weight, as well as that of electrical equipment, increased significantly, at the same time the volume of production dropped in the majority of the manufacturing subsections, among them it declined in the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products, as well as in that of food products, beverages, and tobacco products, KSH notes.
In the 11 months of 2022, production was 6% higher than in the same period of 2021.
Industrial output in November – according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices – was 0.7% below the level of the previous month.
