Croatia industrial output growth slows in July

Industrial production in Croatia rose 3.9% year-on-year in July, easing from a downwardly revised 8.2% gain in the previous month, figures released by the Zagreb-based Croatian Bureau of Statistics (Crostat) show.

Output slowed for manufacturing (3.4% vs 9.3% in June) and mining & quarrying declined further (-6.4% vs -4.9%).

On the other hand, output accelerated for electricity, gas, steam & air conditioning supply (8.2% vs 3.4%). On a monthly basis, industrial production shrank 1.6%, after a 1.5% increase in June.
