Bosnia Industrial Activity Shrinks in February
Industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina shrank by 3% year-on-year in February, following an upwardly revised 0.1% growth in January, data released form the Sarajevo-based Agency for Statistics (BHAS) showed on Monday.
Output dropped for intermediate goods (-5.1% vs 3.3% in the previous month), energy production (-4.9% vs -9.7%), durables (-0.4% vs 1.5%), and non-durables (-0.2% vs 2.3%).
At the same time, it rose slower for capital goods (1.7% vs 8.5%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity fell by 0.7% in February, down from a 0.2% increase in the prior month.
