Deals

Motorway construction company Viadom Építőipari Zrt is under liquidation, its final balance shows a debt of Ft 11 billion.

But the 400+ alleged creditors demand four times as much money, György Szondi of liquidator company Ratis Kft informed daily Napi Gazdaság. The amount seems to be snowballing, there are demands submitted after the deadline and there might be guarantee claims as well. The exact debt amount will be assessed on October 31, the liquidator summoned the creditors for that day.
Viadom's assets, according to the balance, amount to about Ft 5 billion, a considerable part of which is the company's dues. Viadom also owns tangible assets and two properties in the country. The first package of assets was announced for sale in company gazette Cégközlöny yesterday, asking Ft 11 million for mining rights, business share, fuel  containers and the office furniture from the company's site in Nagykanizsa.
This package can be bid for until November 9. Viadom used to be successful, it participated in a winning partnership to build the Nagykanizsa-Balatonkereszt stretch of M7, and two sections on M0's eastern sector. Basaltker Kft was the first of about 50 plaintifs whose liquidation claim against Viadom was accepted by the court. (Napi Gazdaság)
