Hungarian clothing company Styl Ruhaipari, which has been under liquidation for more than six years, will be offered for sale again within weeks, business daily Napi Gazdaság said on Wednesday.

A consortium of Styl's biggest business partners could buy the company, Jenő Varga, who heads liquidator Vectigalis, told the paper.

Among the brands Styl supplies are Louis Feraud, Berwin, Dormeuil, BML, Bogner, Baumler, Barbour, Dolce & Gabbana, St Emile and Carven.

With some investments, Styl could operate profitably in the long term, Varga said.

Styl employs 800 people at present, down from more than 1,500 earlier. Last time the company was offered for sale, the asking price was HUF 770 million. Styl owes lenders more than HUF 900 million.
