Telekom Slovenije attracts 15 bidders

Slovenia’s Ministry of Economy has announced that the state received 15 bidders for the acquisition of a 49.13% stake in Telekom Slovenije.
The bidders included Sistema (Russia), Hrvatski Telekom (Croatia), Oger Telecom (UAE), Skywheeler (Luxembourg), Providence Equity (UK), Magyar Telekom (Hungary), Engrotus (Slovenia), Macquarie Bank (Australia), CEP III/Carlyle (Luxembourg/USA), the consortium Bain Capital & Axos Capital (UK and Germany), Apax (UK), Skipti (Iceland), Babcock & Brown (UK), SAC PCG LLP (USA) and Telecom Egypt (Egypt). Bidders are expected to deliver their non-binding offers by 15 October. (telecom.paper.nl)
