Samsung expects Hungarian market for smartphones to grow more than a third in 2012

About 2.5m new mobile phone handsets can be expected to be sold on the Hungarian market this year, 40-50% of which will be smartphones, head of the mobile division of Samsung Electronics Hungary Balázs Kunos said on Friday.
The ratio of smart phones is set to reach 60-70% in 2012, Kunos said.
Samsung controls about 40% of the Hungarian market for mobile telephones.
