Romaniaʼs supreme court has reduced a fine on the local unit of Hungarian oil and gas company MOL for its cartel activity, news agency Mediafax reported today.

The court reduced the fine from ROL 80.2 mln (€17.9 mln) to ROL 64.2 mln.

The fine was levied on MOL Romania in 2012 for colluding with Romaniaʼs Petrom, Austriaʼs OM, Rompetrol Downstream, Russiaʼs Lukoil and Italian ENI, which were also fined.
