Nitrogénművek broadens product palette
Hungarian artificial fertiliser maker Nitrogénművek is branching out by adding sales of planting seeds, insecticides and pesticides, and crops to its product palette, chairman-CEO László Bige announced today.
Nitrogénművek has been cooperating with Bige Holding Group in order to join all of its artificial fertiliser products under a single brand, the CEO said. It also established a sales network in 2009, and the company decided to further develop the network and set up new units last year, Bige added.
Nitrogénművek's capital expenditures totalled HUF 30 bln over the past years, spending more than €350 mln on investments. Nitrogénművek is expecting to increase its annual capacity from 1 million tons to 1.65 million tons, according to Bige.
