New WestEnd Property Management general manager named
Gr谩nit P贸lus Group has announced the appointment of Simona Ioana Ion as general manager of WestEnd Property Management Ltd., according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
Since January 2019, the expert is responsible for operating what Gr谩nit P贸lus describes as the region始s most successful shopping and entertainment center.
Ion joined the company group in 2012 as head of commercialization, before moving on to being responsible for the company group始s retail leasing functions as CLO.
She achieved her greatest successes in Arad, Romania, heading the Atrium Mall, transforming the establishment from a struggling shopping center into a market leader. In five years, she doubled the number of visitors and average leasing fees, while tripling the building始s value.
In her current position, Ion is responsible for retaining the market-leading position of WestEnd, currently celebrating its 20th anniversary. She is also tasked with measuring the newest customer habits and needs, and carrying out related activities. Ion is now responsible for the operations of WestEnd始s three office buildings, as well as the WestEnd Hilton hotel.
