Natural gas explorer is looking for partners

Canadian energy giant Falcon Oil and Gas is looking for a partner for its natural gas research in Hungary, as the step following the completion of the first phase of the venture, explained György Szabó, CEO of Falcon’s Hungarian subsidiary TXM Oil and Gas Research Kft.

Falcon Oil and Gas is in talks with MOL, ExxonMobil, Conoco, RWE and with other smaller companies, along with Austrian ÖMV, who also signed the confidentiality agreement but with whom they are currently not in talks with, said Szabó, adding that MOL was even offered a position in the Board. The plans of the Canadian group include the introduction of its shares to the Budapest Stock Exchange. (Gazdasági Rádió)
