MVM elects new chairman-CEO

A general meeting of the state-owned Hungarian Electricity Works (MVM) has appointed Péter Csiba chairman-CEO of the company, MVM said yesterday. Csiba will take over as chairman from June 30 but will take the post of CEO only later.
Until such time, sales director Attila Bally will be the companyʼs acting chief executive, according to the company. Csiba has more than eight years experience in management positions in the energy sector. For the last five years, he has worked for GDF SUEZ in Hungary, MVM said.
