MOL sells stake in Surgut-7 oil field

Representatives of oil and gas company MOL said it sold its 100% stake in the Surgut-7 oil field in Russia, per an announcement of yesterday. MOL directly sold OOO MOL Western Siberia which owns the exploration license for the Surgut-7 block.
The company disclosed no other details of the transaction.
MOL announced on August 12 that it was in advanced negotiations to sell the Surgut-7 oil field, which is strongly linked to the infrastructure of the Zapadno-Malobalykskoye oil field. On August 12, MOL sold its 50% stake in Russneft, the company that operates the Zapadno-Malobalykskoye field, to two Russian firms.
