MOL must boost efficiency of Croatia refineries, says supervisory board chairman

Hungarian oil and gas company MOL must boost the efficiency of its refineries in Croatia to bring them up to the level of the ones in Hungary and Slovakia over the next five years, MOL supervisory board chairman György Mosonyi said at a presentation at the Pannon University in Veszprém (NW Hungary) on Wednesday.
This will be a serious task requiring a lot of capital in the coming two years, Mosonyi said. MOL's refineries in Hungary and Slovakia are among the most efficient in Europe, he added.
MOL has five refineries: one in Hungary, one in Slovakia, two in Croatia and one in Italy. They have combined annual capacity of 25m tons.
