MOL introduces green diesel

MOL Nyrt is to start selling premium diesel fuel containing environment friendly additives as of November at MOL fuel stations, the company told state newswire MTI yesterday.
The premium fuel called EVONEO Diesel, available 90% of MOL pumps, contains 4.4% bio-diesel additive. Compared to the traditional diesel fuel, the new type provides for more dynamic output, lower harmful substance emission and longer engine lifespan.
According to an earlier announcement by MOL, the company intends to put 4.4% bio-diesel additive into each type of its diesel fuels as of January 2008. The petrol distributed by MOL has contained a bio-component since 2005, the proportion of which was increased to 4.4% this summer. (Gazdasági Rádió)
