MNB sends proposal on tighter financial sector oversight rules to ministry

The National Bank of Hungary (MNB) yesterday sent a package of legislative amendments that would tighten financial sector oversight rules to the economy ministry and to parliament's economic committee, the bank said.

The aim is to make a cleaning of the market more efficient and to protect investors, the MNB said.
