MNB recalls oversight commissioner at Széchenyi Lízing

The National Bank of Hungary (MNB) today recalled its oversight commissioner from Széchenyi Lízing after the leasing companyʼs financial position and refinancing were resolved, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
The oversight commissioner was placed at the company by the central bank and financial market watchdog last November due to issues with its capital position.
Széchenyi Lízing was majority-owned by Széchenyi Commercial Bank, whose license the MNB withdrew in December, citing irregularities.
