MNB fines HUN MINING HUF 84 mln

The National Bank of Hungary (MNB) fined mining company HUN MINING HUF 84 mln for failing to disclose financial information and comply with supervisory resolutions as well as manipulating markets, the central bank said today in a press release.

The MNB said it levied fines for a series of offenses that took place between March 2012 and March 2015, adding that it also initiated criminal proceedings with the police against the company based on its findings.

The press release noted that HUN MINING is under liquidation.
