MetLife Biztositó fined for oversight violations
The National Bank of Hungary (MNB) fined insurer MetLife Biztositó a combined HUF 25 mln after it was found guilty of violations, a resolution posted on the bankʼs website shows.
The central bank and financial market regulator fined the insurer HUF 20 mln for oversight violations and HUF 5 mln for consumer protection violations. MNB spokesman István Binder told MTI a number of smaller problems had been uncovered in the course of a comprehensive review.
