Mako unveils HUF 4bn spa designed by Makovecz

Local officials of the city of Mako (SE Hungary) on Friday inaugurated a HUF 4bn spa.
The spa was one of the last projects designed the Kossuth Prize-winning architect Imre Makovecz before his death last September.
The local council won more than HUF 1.5bn in grant money for the spa from the Southern Great Plain Regional Operative Programme, said mayor Peter Buzas.
The spa is expected to attract 600,000-700,000 visitors this year.
