Magyar Telekom landline chief quits
Magyar Telekom Nyrt announced on Thursday that Christopher Mattheisen, chief operating officer of the company's landline services business, has resigned as of June 15.
Under the direction of Mr Mattheisen, the Magyar Telekom Group has successfully developed its broadband market over the past four years and launched new, innovative solutions on the Hungarian telecommunications market, the company said. Christopher Mattheisen has also managed the expansion of the landline business on foreign markets. He will continue his carrier outside Hungary.
Mattheisen's duties will be temporarily taken over by deputy COO György Simo from June 15 until a replacement is appointed, Magyar Telekom said. Simo is also the CEO of T-Online Hungary. (Econews)
