Lázár to involve international help for Paks
Hungary is planning to bring together an international panel of experts to consult on the upgrade of the Paks nuclear power plant, Cabinet Chief János Lázár said today.
According to Lázár, the panel is expected to support the project and is set to ensure that an international professional opinion is expressed on the matter, similar to other examples in Europe. He said drawing on international and domestic experience would make work on the project more transparent and more productive.
The upgrade is supported with a €10 bln loan from Russia, and is being undertaken by Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation.
