The new model is suitable for both regional and long-distance service and will be presented at the Busexpo in Zsámbék (near Budapest) on May 8, said Attila Tormássy, the companyʼs marketing and communications director.

Import parts account for just 20-25% of the total purchase price of the new model, he added.

Kravtex-Kühne employs around 550 workers at its bases in Mosonmagyaróvár, Győr and Szolnok. Its consolidated revenue is estimated at more than HUF 20 billion last year.

Since 2016, the group has delivered more than 600 buses to transport companies, creating 200 jobs along with its suppliers. This year, it plans to make 250-300 buses.
