Chairman of the board of directors of Hungarian chemical company BorsodChem Jason Ding is to become the company's CEO from January 1, BorsodChem told MTI on Thursday.

Jason Ding is to replace Wolfgang Büchele, who is to continue his career as president and CEO of Finland's Kemira Oy.

Jason Ding headed China's Yantai Wanhua over the past 30 years as it grew from a small MDI factory into one of the world's three biggest isocyanate manufacturers.

Ding has been chairman of the board of BorsodChem since February 1, 2011, and will keep this position in the future.
