Irishman plans €591 mln Romanian build

Irish property developer, David Sharkey, is planning to build a €591 million (about $943 million)shopping center in Romania.
Sharkey’s Polish-based company, Caelum Developments, has formed a 50/50% joint venture business with Sonae Sierra, a multinational investment group, to build the project on a 20-acre site in the capital Bucharest. The project, to be called The Parkland Plaza, will include a range of international shops, a supermarket and 14-screen cinema complex and is scheduled to open in 2011. (Galvay Advertiser)
