I. G. Gasket International building HUF 810m plant in NW Hungary

Automotive industry supplier I. G. Gasket International is building an HUF 810m plant in Rajka, near Hungary’s borders with Austria and Slovakia.
The company won a HUF 213m grant from the New Szechenyi Plan for the project. I. G. Gasket International will hire 60 new workers as a result of the investment.
The company’s Italian parent is a member of rubber manufacturing group IG Holding.
MTI learnt I. G. Gasket International started building a 3,300sqm production hall on a 6.5 hectare plot last December. Construction is expected to last until March, after which the factory will be outfitted with equipment.
