Hungary lobbies for more flexible trade in farm products with China

Rural Development Ministry state secretary Endre Kardeván has lobbied for an easing of conditions for trade of farm products between Hungary and China at a meeting with Chinese officials in Beijing.
Kardeván met with deputy director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine Bureau Wei Chuanzhong and director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture Wang Ying.
Kardeván said Hungary sought to achieve more flexible import-export conditions for farm products. He added that his Chinese partners promised an accelerated licensing procedure necessary for the import of Hungarian pork products, he added.
Kardeván also attended the Second International Feather Festival in Anhui Province during his visit to China.
