Hungary: Ecostat sees twelve-month CPI picking up to 5.7% in November

Economic research institute Ecostat sees twelve-month inflation picking up to 5.7% in November 2008, according to its latest Mikroszkop report, which offers projections for some of Hungary’s main macroeconomic indicators.
Ecostat projects industrial producer prices will rise 6.2% year-on-year (yr/yr) in November. Ecostat sees gross wages rising 7.5% yr/yr in November, with public sector wages climbing 4.9% and private sector wages up 8.6%. It projects a workday- and seasonally-adjusted 6.2% yr/yr expansion of industrial output, with domestic sales inching up 3.0%, but export sales rising 9.7%. Ecostat sees retail sales growth picking up to 1.4% by November. (MTI-Econews)
