Horizon Development Opens Promenade Gardens and Plans EXPO REAL Presence with New Projects

The Grand Opening of Horizon Development’s most recent premium Váci Corridor office development took place last Wednesday with the participation of over 200 guests from various fields and sectors related to the property industry. The globally awarded company is also planning its involvement at another prestigious event, exhibiting at the Budapest stand of international real estate fair EXPO REAL to be held on 8-10 October in Munich.
The celebratory occasion of Promenade Gardens’ Grand Opening started with speeches by Dr. József Tóth (Mayor, 13th District of Budapest), Balázs Pázmány FRICS (President of the Board, ERSTE Open-Ended Real Estate Fund) and Attila Kovács MRICS (Managing Partner, Horizon Development), appraising the technical, aesthetic and financial success of the building from the perspective of the local community, the investor, the tenants and the developer. The speakers jointly cut the copper-toned silk ribbon that reminded viewers of the building’s unique façade color and premiered a project movie that showed the entire 2-year development process of the commercial building from breaking ground to full completion.
Managing Partner Attila Kovács turned the audience’s focus from the significant achievement at hand to promising future endeavors when he made an official announcement about his development company’s new mandate that will call a new luxury lifestyle hotel into being in the 5th district of Budapest.
The upcoming communication and networking platform of EXPO REAL will also present the opportunity to showcase the diverse and ambitious plans of Horizon Development across segments and borders. These include the ongoing, LEED Platinum certified, mixed-use 7-story Szervita Square Building complete with luxury residential units, as well as premium retail and office spaces; the just announced five-star downtown boutique hotel on Hold Street; as well as a luxury residential project in Marbella, Spain, which now makes the Horizon Development portfolio truly international. When asked about this major step of branching into new segments and reaching beyond borders, Managing Partner Attila Kovács responded: “We truly believe that with our track record of developing prime heritage and modern buildings we can be entrusted to leave a supreme architectural footprint in other parts of the World, as well.”
