Hewitt offers services to domestic clients
HR outsourcing and consulting company Hewitt Associate (HA) opened a European Center to support its pension-actuary division of its growing customer portfolio in the Netherlands, UK, and Switzerland.
At the same time, the Hewitt Associate introduced a pension and health solutions program targeting Hungarian corporations. The reason the company chose Budapest for its support unit, currently employing 15, is the inhabitants’ has strong ties to the English, German, and French speaking countries, as well as higher skills and better infrastructure, said the Nick Flint, the manager of the center.
Although the company has been present in the country since 1997, it is the first time HA is providing consulting services to domestic firms on how to provide better health, pension, and other benefits to their employees. Hungary had a leading position in the retirement plan reform, said manager of new division Tibor Párniczky, and the current focus is on the healthcare reform. (Napi Gazdaság)
