GVH fines MAX-IMMUN on charges of misleading advertising

Hungaryʼs Competition Office (GVH) announced on Friday that it had fined MAX-IMMUN HUF 5 mln on charges of misleading advertising, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
GVH states that MAX-IMMUN falsely attributed beneficial medical effects to its products, which contain mushroom extracts. The fine was levied in a procedure following an earlier successful appeal of a GVH resolution to fine the company HUF 8 mln.
