Govt to set up office for ‘future planning’

The government is planning to establish the National Strategy and Planning Office (NSTH) at a cost of HUF 1.2bn to help set long-term goals for industrial developments and to make decisions with regard to strategic national economic issues, the news portal origo.hu reported on Wednesday.
The office will work with a staff of 100. Its start-up cost of HUF 1.2bn has already been calculated in the 2012 budget.
The government could make an official decision regarding establishment of the office on Wednesday.
NSTH will function under the National Economy Ministry.
